BIRDHOUSE PRESENTS…February Fun at Freshney Place – have a whale of a time this half term
Young children and their families can enjoy free, exciting activities this coming school half term with the help of Freshney Place Shopping Centre.
On Monday 17th, a story-teller from Rhubarb Theatre in Lincoln will be performing The Snail and the Whale by Julia Donaldson, using props, music and audience interaction.
Stories will be hosted at intervals starting at 11am, 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm.
Children can also take part in craft workshops, between 10am and 3pm, making whale puppets to take home.
On Friday 21st, Grimsby-based Moonfruit Stories will present a spring-based story – When the Bears Woke Up, again at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm and featuring live music and singing. Craft artist Sue Hawkmoon will join them, offering craft-making activities, using recycled materials between 10am and 3pm.
